Moorhead Youth Hockey is currently accepting applications for Concession/Pro Shop Workers, Rink Attendants, and Zamboni Operators (for the 2023-2024 fall/winter season)We are now operating and managing TWO locations - The Cullen Hockey Center & The Moorhead Sports Center!

 

 

Part Time Concession/Pro Shop Worker (14 and up): Currently fully staffed for the season

You must be able to work 2 weekend shifts 3 of the 4 weekends a month, being able to work a weeknight shift is a plus.

Customer Service is HUGE...Come to work with a smile!  Converse with customers, be self motivated, and be able to work independently when needed, & work well with others on our busy weekends! Team work makes it work at the CHC & MSC on the ice and in concessions! 

Concession - Main Duties include Food Preparation, handling cash, cleaning equipment and stock inventory as needed or directed. 

Pro Shop - sell products,  handle cash, stock inventory, sharpen skates (we will teach you),  light cleaning and organizing.  

We don't like to be bored, and we take pride in keeping our rink nice.  When slow you will be expected to do some light cleaning in lobby areas, and fill TP, Soap, Paper Towels as needed.  We strive to be good teammates/co-workers, the hours are flexible, but you must be reliable!! 

 

Part Time Rink Attendant (ages 17 and up):

  • Must be available evenings and weekends
  • May be responsible for Opening and Closing the Arena. 
  • General Maintence of lobby areas, inside the rinks, locker rooms, bathrooms, emptying garbages, wiping up spills, cleaning floors, cleaning glass, etc.
  • Organizational skills a plus - help keep equipment, chairs, table and furniture where it belongs, wiped down, and organized. 
  • Sharpen Skates for customers when Pro Shop Staff isn't available.  

Zamboni Operator (18 plus):

  • May be responsible for opening and closing the Arena
  • Zam driving experience a plus, but not required. 
  • Attention to details is a must as you will be responsible for driving, and maintaining the Zam. 
  • If you don't have experience you must be willing to learn, take responsibility and ownership in maintaining the best Ice in the State! 
  • General Maintenance/Clean up in the Arena as needed - focus on locker rooms and around the ice rink.
